A client recently introduced us to artist Steve Ward and we liked his work so much we brought some of his furniture into the store. Steve’s as local as you can get—he was born in Seattle, went to Bellevue High, and now lives in a house he built off the grid, south of Twisp.
“I gravitate toward the beauty of objects in a raw or unpolished state,” says Steve. “I believe that they present possibilities not always immediately evident, but there to be discovered and shared with a viewer.”

They are hand-welded. We have two. We also have a stack of fabric swatches for their eventual (but optional) upholstery, so they’re pretty customizable.
